Days after hinting that he was retiring from politics after the proposed Classical Tamil Conference in Coimbatore in June next year, Tamil Nadu CM M Karunanidhi seems to have had a change of heart.

We will consider both the views (retiring and staying put), Karunanidhi, 85, said when asked about remarks made by some DMK leaders that he should not quit politics and if he does, Deputy CM Stalin should succeed him. Stalin had on Monday said he hoped his father would reconsider quitting active politics.
