Vijay clarifies his political plans - Oneindia

Vijay has finally announced his efforts to launch a political party, but has not disclosed the date for that.

Now the actor has officially clarified a few things on his political move. He said: "Yes, I am serious about plunging into politics. My greatest strength is my fans who have always supported me through thick and thin. I have about 37, 000 fan clubs spread across Tamil Nadu who are doing social work. I want to do more for the society and that is why I want to enter politics. Now I'm waiting for a suitable time to announce my political plans..." Vijay has also denied his father SA Chandrasekar's drastic comments on Vijaykanth, the actor turned politician.
