Singer Chris Brown and his attorney Mark Geragos appear in L.A. County Superior Court on Monday. Brown, 19, has apologized for the Feb. 8 incident.

The singer is accused of assaulting pop star Rihanna during an argument in February in L.A. His lawyers are told to return to court April 29 to set a date for a preliminary hearing.
