Rolling Hills Ranch retirement community, 4324 N. 132nd St., will offer Trick-or-Treat Halloween Safe House from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Children accompanied by an adult are invited to trick-or-treat throughout the building as they show off their costumes and Halloween spirit to the senior residents. Free and open to the public. The Atlantic (Iowa) Fraternal Order of Eagles and Junior Order of the Eagles No. 3763 with the Atlantic Jaycees will present their “Nights of the Unknown” Haunted House from 6 p.m. to midnight at the Cass County Fairgrounds in Atlantic. Tickets are $5 per person. A special spookless matinee for children is 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for $3 per person. Proceeds will benefit the Atlantic Eagles and Jaycees charities.
