At 12 a.m. on Wednesday (September 9), "The Beatles: Rock Band" went on sale, much to the joy of fans around the world. Since it was announced in October 2008, few games have garnered the attention of this new "Rock Band" installment, which allows fans to play songs from the span of the Beatles' career, starting in 1964 with their famous appearance at the Ed Sullivan Theater, and running straight through to "All You Need Is Love" on the rooftop of Abbey Road Studios. MTV News went down to GameStop's flagship store in New York's Herald Square to speak to fans who came at midnight to pick up a copy of the game.
