was our first contestant to be sent home from the semi-finals. So, what happened? Well, I think I’ve already stated my opinion on vote splitting between the top 12 females, and Janell was the first (but not the last) casualty to this incredibly common voting result. Janell was certainly a weak link with her tepid performance of a Heart classic, and her voice wasn’t powerful enough to do the number justice. This shouldn’t have been that much of a shock to anyone. At first I thought Janell might squeak through because she is a very attractive woman, but then I took a step back and realized, this year the vast majority of the girls are very attractive women. So, goodbye, Janell. Maybe next time you pick out an actual pair of jeans and not tights that simply look like jeans.
