MontaVista Software is a leader in multi-core embedded Linux operatingsystems, virtualization, development tools and professional services with abroad array of Tier-1 customers. Embedded Linux is fast becoming theoperating system of choice for hundreds of millions of devices ranging fromvery large carrier grade equipment to consumer electronics. Traditionallyembedded devices used a proprietary OS or commercial real-time operatingsystem. However, there is a major trend towards using embedded Linux.
