! While Asus has come in for some stick for effectively abandoning Linux on netbooks, HP has shown Linux is far from a lost cause among big vendors.
Asus copped a big serve earlier this week from iTWire's David M Williams for spurning the open source operating system. But HP has just announced a new netbook - sorry, "mini PC" that still provides the choice of Windows or Linux. The Mini 110 has a 10.1in screen and a '92 percent' keyboard, so it will be of interest to those of us who don't want something too tiny. But at just over 1kg and less than 3cm thick, it's not too bulky or heavy.
